ON APRIL 15 Diamond Shipping takes over as agent for Torm Lines of Copenhagen, Denmark. The handover vessel will be the MSC Paraguay 10R, expected in Durban on April 24.
Torm Line operates in a slot agreement with MSC from South Africa to West Africa offering a weekly
cellular service from Durban, Port Elizabeth and Cape Town to West Africa, calling directly at Abidjan.
Regular transhipments are provided from Abidjan to Dakar, Banjul, Conakry, Freetown, Monrovia, Tema, Lome, Cotonou, Lagos, Warri, Talibar, Onne, Douala, Pointe Noire and Matadi.
Torm is well over a century old and has four
divisions: -product tankers, bulk carriers, supply vessels and liner services.
Previous agents were Seaclad Maritime.
