Sars has invited comment before 10 February 2011 on the Diamond Export Levy (Administration) Act, 2007. According to the notice, under section 18 of the Diamond Export Levy (Administration) Act 2007, the rules published in the Government Gazette of 31 October 2008 are proposed to be amended, and Schedule A of rule 14.02 deleted and deemed to have come into operation on 30 September 2009.
