Das brings on DC10

DAS AIR has upgraded its services from Amsterdam and London with the introduction this month of a DC10 on its fortnightly schedule previously served by two Boeing 707 freighters. The DC10 departs for Entebbe on a Friday and connects the following day into Johannesburg. An additional DC10 is expected to be brought into service on the route shortly. In order to better develop the southbound route from Europe, the airline has appointed Graham Stone as sales representative in Johannesburg. His primary focus is consignee sales and the development of routes beyond the South African hub into the neighbouring states. Botswana, Namibia, Angola, Mozambique and Zambia are the prime focus areas. Stone has extensive experience in Africa, having worked as the Das manager in Entebbe for four years. Prior to that he was based in Nigeria for 10 years where he managed a major freight agency.
