Cyberattacks top the list of risk factors

Transport and logistics companies are navigating an increasingly complex risk landscape, with regional factors significantly inf luencing the top threats they face. According to a global risk management survey by AON, the top ten risks vary widely across different regions, driven by localised concerns and industry-specific challenges. In South Africa, risks like business interruption and supply chain and distribution failure rank especially high, reflecting the country’s unique economic and operational pressures. The AON survey identified the world's top ten risks for transport and logistics companies, with cyberattacks or data breaches leading the list. This is closely followed by concerns regarding economic slowdown or slow recovery and business interruption. LV
