ALAN PEAT THE CUSTOMS section of SA Revenue Service (SARS) is in the process of negotiating 15 new agreements with other customs administrations around the world. These 15 countries, according to information released to FTW by Deloitte, are: Algeria, Angola, Brazil, Israel, Iran, Malawi, Mozambique, Nigeria, Norway, DRC, Czech Republic, Tanzania, Turkey, Zambia and Zimbabwe. To date SARS only has four such agreements in place – with France, the Netherlands, UK and USA.
