On 25 February 2026, the South African Revenue Service (SARS) advised that the facility codes used in Box 30 on the Goods Declaration had been updated to include details of the container depot for Independent Warehousing Solutions (Pty) Ltd, located in Port Elizabeth.
This addition enables Customs to transmit electronic messages to these facilities which communicate the status of the consignment.
