Ray Smuts NO DELAYS whatsoever and not a single vessel awaiting berthing was the encouraging picture at Cape Town’s container terminal last week. Sapo’s Nad Govender said the only slight hitch presenting itself as the weekend approached was a problem with certain IT systems, but that was soon sorted out. In Durban the average delay reported on Monday morning (June 30) was 24 hours with three vessels awaiting berthing.
