CP SHIPS, parent company of Lykes Lines, has made a significant move into the logistics arena with the acquisition of Montreal-based ROE Logistics. “As a way of adding value to our core container services, we are selectively developing logistics services in markets where it makes sense,” commented CP Ships CEO Ray Miles. The acquisition is expected to close in the second quarter.
