The Angolan Consulate in Johannesburg is unable to process visas due to technical problems with the system, a spokesperson has told eTNW.
The spokesperson said the visa services were expected to be down for the remainder of the week. “As no visas will be issued, travellers should consider changing their travel dates,” she said.
The Cape Town Consulate said they were experiencing problems with long-term visas (30 days) but that short-term visas (7 days) were still being issued.
Meanwhile, a spokesperson at the Angolan Embassy in Pretoria told eTNW there were no issues and visas were being processed as normal.
