Compu-Clearing launches CD training programme

COMPU-CLEARING Outsourcing has revolutionised its training for clients to create what chairman Arnold Garber believes is the ultimate in user-friendly convenience. The company has just produced a set of 18 training modules on CD which covers its full suite of products. Over the next few weeks all clients will be presented with a full set of CDs at no cost giving them access to the full force of Compu-Clearing's training team in the comfort of their home or office. "Feedback over the years has shown that clients want to be able to train in their own time, at their own speed and to concentrate on the areas which are most relevant to them," Garber told FTW. "This was the motivation behind the new initiative which has already been test-driven by one of our forwarding clients, with very positive feedback." Garber stresses, however, that if clients want to be trained at their business premises, Compu-Clearing will continue to offer that option. The CDs can be used in any PC, require no specialist software, and are therefore ideal for use on home PCs. "It's not DVD technology but regular PC technology requiring the most basic system for use." If clients would like additional copies over and above the basic set, Compu-Clearing will supply these at a nominal charge to cover costs. Each module is designed in several easy-to-digest, bite-sized chunks, One course may be divided into 20 to 30 mini-courses, with the duration and subject of each section listed for easy reference. This also makes updates easy to provide, says Garber. "We will hold one master copy at our head office and copies will be provided for clients as and when required." The launch of this new initiative not only makes good business sense for Compu-Clearing's national client base in South Africa, but adds a new dimension to its international expansion plans. "Technology now gives us the facility to train clients in Kuala Lumpur as effectively as clients in Gauteng, which is a major breakthrough for us." Copies of the CDs can be ordered on Compu-Clearing's website at www.compu-clearing.co.za
