MORE AND more vehicle importers in Angola, DRC and Zambia are using Walvis Bay as their preferred point of discharge, according to a spokesman for the Walvis Bay Corridor Group. “This is especially true of second-hand vehicles,” the spokesman said. The ro-ro vessel Grand Sapphire recently discharged 60 cars at Walvis Bay, destined for Namibia, Angola and Zambia.
