Cargolux is adding the new destination of Port Harcourt in Nigeria to its African network.
The inaugural service will launch on March 5 operated by Cargolux’s Boeing 747 freighter.
“Port Harcourt perfectly fits into Cargolux’s network as it has strong oil and gas traffic,” said an airline spokesman. “Given the geo-political location, the oil and gas industry in the region increasingly demands more direct flights for its equipment and support-related items.”
The new service will also connect Lagos, Kinshasa and Nairobi with Europe.
