A NEW branch has just been opened in Pretoria by Buffalo Freight Systems - in an area which has a fast growing market and increasing client base, according to MD Margrit Wolff.
“This allows us to directly serve both our general and automotive clients in the area,” she said.
It is headed up by Hennie Joubert - well-known in the area from many years of experience in the Pretoria market.
“Since early this year when Buffalo started developing the Pretoria market we have been growing business at a rapid pace,” he told FTW.
Joubert highlighted motor cycle imports, worth about R2-million a month, food supplements for animals and a whole range of clients in Garankuwa - the industrial area developed in the former Bophutatswana - as being just three areas where growth has been focused.
“The growth was sufficient for us to justify opening the Buffalo offices at the beginning of September,” Joubert added.
The new branch, with both administrative and warehouse premises, joins company branches already established in Johannesburg and Durban.
Buffalo will be selling its strengths in both the seafreight and airfreight markets, according to Wolff.
