British Consulate reflects trade mission

Anna Cox THE DUKE of York, Prince Andrew, in his capacity as Special Representative for International Investment and Trade, last week renamed the British Consulate in Johannesburg 'British Trade and Investment.' "The change in name for this office will reflect what it actually does. It gives the United Kingdom the opportunity to renew its commitment to strengthening trade and investment links between the United Kingdom and South Africa," he said. Prince Andrew was accompanied by senior executives of several companies who were looking to invest further in South Africa.
