SPECIALIST OVERBORDER road haulier BP Freight sees enormous potential on the Zambia route and is set to grow its share of the market, says Brendon Sundelowitz. “At the moment we’re doing at least one consolidation every week into Lusaka, with the truck extending its journey if we have any cargo for the Copperbelt. “But with so many large-scale projects on the go, we’re confident that this is just the start of bigger things,” says Sundelowitz. BP is fast extending its African footprint, having just opened an office in Zimbabwe, still one of its busiest routes. Another emerging market for BP Freight is Maputo where it is doing regular consolidations.
