According to information released to FTWO by the Maputo Corridor Logistics Initiative (MCLI), the Lebombo/Ressano Garcia border posts will be operating 24 hours for the festive period between December 11 and January 10, 2016.
But it’s still not going to be easy-going, according to MCLI, with the high traffic volumes and limited infrastructure and manning likely to lead to extensive queues and congestion.
Outside the extended hour periods, normal border post operating times will be in effect.
