RAY SMUTS AS THE SA – Europe Container Service brings on a new fleet to replace its ‘Big Whites’, the future of these vessels has been revealed. Three of the ‘Big Whites’ owned by Danaos but re-chartered by Safmarine - SA Helderberg, SA Winterberg and SA Sederberg - are being switched to the Asia/South Africa trade. Along with the Maersk Constantia these will form part of the new Safari service.
