KEVIN MAYHEW THE CONTROLLER of Customs at Beit Bridge border post, Seolo Makwela, was tragically killed in a motor accident recently. The chairman of the Beit Bridge Border Chapter of the South African Association of Freight Forwarders (SAAFF), Ian Cooper, said Makwela had gone out of his way to understand the freight forwarding business to try to facilitate speedier service since taking the post in 2001.
