Terry Hutson CHINESE PORTS will be handling six billion tonnes of cargo annually within five years. That was one of the messages from China's communications minister Zhang Chunxian at the recent IAPH conference held in Shanghai. Chunxian said this represented a 50% increase on current volumes.
