Teaming up ...
Air France,
Delta Air Lines and Korean
Air have formed the world's largest joint cargo venture

AIR FRANCE has joined forces with Delta Air Lines and Korean Air to form one of the world's largest joint cargo ventures, giving the trio a widespread, fully international freight service. The three carriers are also founding members
of the SkyTeam Cargo Alliance with Aeromexico and CSA Czech Airlines.
This new venture will offer customers the benefits of a combined sales force, centralised reservation and service centre, a comprehensive route network and a common product line. Air France's Southern African customers will benefit from the rapid transhipment access to destinations anywhere in the world.
Air France is the world's fourth largest freight carrier. Korean Air, which carried 1,3million tons of cargo in 2000, is the world's largest transPacific carrier, carrying freight to 76 destinations in
29 countries worldwide. Delta, with the slogan of carrying cargo from anywhere to anywhere, has destination points in 367 cities ranging across 64 countries.
