Air carriers signs deal for China-Brazil flights

China’s Hainan Airlines and Brazil’s Azul have signed an agreement for flights between the two nations.

The two carriers plan to launch flights between China and Fortaleza, in the Brazilian state of Ceará, with a stopover in Lisbon, Portugal, reported the NewsAvia specialised website. The website quoted the Fortaleza press, specifically the O Povo newspaper.

The only other Chinese carrier currently offering flights to Brazil is Air China, which has served the route for seven years.
