ANNA COX INCREASED AIR traffic between Nigeria and South Africa has led South African transport minister Jeff Radebe and his Nigerian counterpart, Isa Yuguda, to hold bilateral discussions aimed at promoting more efficient aviation services across Africa. Nigeria has expressed a desire to provide South Africa with an additional weekly frequency, bringing it to a total of four flights per week, between the two countries. “We would be happy to make a concession of an additional frequency, but we would need to work out the modalities,” said Yuguda.
