On 21 February 2025, the South African Revenue Service (SARS) announced the imposition of an anti-dumping duty of 118.88% on active yeast, classifiable in tariff subheading 2102.10, imported from or originating from the Republic of Zimbabwe, excluding that produced by Lesaffre Zimbabwe (Pvt) Ltd. The reasoning is contained in the International Trade Administration Commission of South Africa (ITAC) Report No.741.
