ACSA hikes terminal rates

THE RATES for ACSA's local aircargo terminal services have increased from April 1 by an average of 8.2%.
On imports, storage charges are up by 7.6% - from R10.50 to R11.30 per 100 kilograms (or part thereof) per day - with minimum charges up by 8.3% to R65 per consignment.
Demurrage - charged after a 48-hour free stay - has increased by 7.9% to R41 per day.
For exports, the dangerous goods handling fee has gone up by
9.1% to R120 per shipment.
The security examination charge for unknown cargo, meantime, stays the same - at R20 per consignment.
