Aero Zambia and Interair move into
its fold

EFFECTIVE TOMORROW (May 1) Air Cargo Partners (ACP Worldwide) will take over as general sales agents worldwide for Aero Zambia and Interair.
It's a deal which offers the airlines the kind of global reach that no local GSA can offer, says ACP g.m. Chris Ingall.
We'll represent them in the UK, Europe, Ireland and the USA and will sell their services off-line overseas.
For imports cargo will move to Johannesburg on Virgin's daily service after which it will be transferred onto their local services. Exports will be shuttled to Johannesburg and on-carried by Virgin.
It gives them a gateway in and out of the rest of the world to which they have not previously had easy access, says Ingall
Every week Aero Zambia flies to Lusaka (three times), Nairobi (twice) and Harare (three times) while Interair serves Ndola (three flights), Uganda (one flight), Reunion (one flight) and Madagascar (once).
Because we have a network of our own offices, ACP is able to offer their clients a 'one-stop shop'.
We are talking to other operators because we feel that our global reach is a unique strength in South Africa. We could also interline with Martinair and other services from London, where ACP currently represents more than 10 airlines.
