French Ambassador Serge Boscher (left), pictured here with Jean-Philippe Thenoz, senior vice president group agencies network CMA CGM Group, hailed the move of the shipping line’s regional office for Southern, Eastern Africa and Indian Ocean to bigger premises in Ridgeside Office Park in Umhlanga last week as a sign of his company’s strong business confidence in Durban as a gateway to Africa. Building on its Africa growth strategy, the line is now marketing an endto- end service offering following the launch earlier this year of its inland distribution subsidiary, CC Inter Africa, which offers road or rail distribution of cargo within South Africa and overborder.
