RwandAir has announced the immediate suspension of its flights to Johannesburg, Cape Town, Lusaka and Harare, effective yesterday, February 8.
A press release from the airline indicates that the cause for the suspension is global concerns about variants prevalent throughout Southern Africa.
It says scheduled flights will resume as soon as there is more clarity on the situation. In the meanwhile, RwandAir says affected customers can rebook and fly at a later date at no additional cost, or request a refund.
