Tally Clerk

Logistics company seeks an experienced Tally Clerk who would be responsible for on-site cargo tallying & data recording at ports & warehouses, including offloading, receiving, stock counts, ensuring cargo quantity, condition & records are accurate. Particular in reporting damages, shortages & any discrepancies to the Supervisor. Thoroughly check loading conditions to ensure cargo safety & compliance with loading standards. Apply tarpaulins or other protective measures after loading as required. Follow port & warehouse safety regulations during all operations. Warehouses located in Prospecton, Umbilo, Maydon Wharf & Point areas. Involves shift work and must have a drivers' license & own vehicle. Salary between R8 000-R12 000 pm.
