Seafreight Import Controller

Opportunity available at this fast-growing C&F concern for a Sea Import Controller with at least 8 years' experience in International Freight Forwarding. This would be to arrange shipments with foreign agents/partners, provide customers with status reports, request rates from multiple agents, compare & provide quotations/estimates based on sound knowledge of market. Full Forwarding function, comprehensive understanding of pricing both in terms of freight rates & origin charges. Able to draw cargo from airline if needed. Registering files on Shipshape system, tracking shipments, pre-framed customs entries for clearance, co-ordinating multiple deliveries with transporters.
