Estimator

Responsibilities:

• Compile accurate estimates for all transport modes (imports and exports) based on client and agent requirements.
• Request and confirm landside and freight charges from agents and service providers globally.
• Ensure all estimates align with client rates and forwarding instructions.
• Maintain and update client rate schedules, and communicate buy/sell rates to operations.
• Negotiate rates with agents and 3rd-party suppliers where needed.
• Prepare and submit tenders, negotiate pricing and follow up on outcomes.
• Provide administrative support and handle client queries efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of approved estimates.

Requirements:

• Matric or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years experience in freight forwarding and clearing.
• Understanding of all transport modes: Air, Ocean and Road.
• Good administrative and computer skills.
• Knowledge of Incoterms 2010, customs tariffs and port charges.
