Join a close-knit local team that has been in business for over 20 years handling airfreight exports, handling files from A-Z, including framing of the entries.
Our client is a long-standing clearing and forwarding agent with a small but personal team in Cape Town. They are seeking a candidate who is looking for growth within a company.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role within clearing and forwarding, handling files from A-Z (non-negotiable).
- EasyClear experience highly preferential.
- Previous IATA cargo agent experience and knows the airlines.
- Own transport/resides centrally.
- Ability to calculate volume.
- Strong Inco-terms knowledge.
- Strong geographical knowledge.
- Thorough understanding freight fundamentals.
- General understanding of the Customs tariff.
- Strong communication skills- both email and telephone.
