Wiseman Madinane

Wiseman Madinane is an alumnus of Durban University of Technology (DUT) where he studied chemical engineering. He subsequently completed an executive programme at Harvard Business School.
Madinane started his career with Mondi where he left as a senior executive. He went on to pursue his entrepreneurial ambitions, creating a R200-million-revenue portfolio of companies in downstream paper beneficiation through acquisitions.
He has served as a non-executive director of Mondi South Africa and various other businesses. In 2010 he ventured into business consulting where he specialised in mentorship and coaching. He spent four years with Transnet Freight Rail as an executive manager before joining C Steinweg Bridge as managing director, rail division.
He is the serving president of Convocation, chairperson of council of DUT and serves on various council committees.
Madinane is a keen golfer and a dedicated road cyclist.
