Ziegler sees growth in CT market

Almost a year since the opening of its Cape Town office, Ziegler South Africa is reaping the rewards in pleasing growth figures, according to chief operating officer Paul Lawrence. Based just off the airport with warehousing and office facilities, it’s well placed to serve the Cape Town shipping industry, says Lawrence. “Part of the motivation for opening the office was to service our existing customers who have business interests in Cape Town – but more importantly the idea is to grow our Western Cape customer base,” he added. The company has invested significant time and effort in its sales activity in the region, and while its focus is on general freight forwarding, it is also targeting niche agricultural sectors, including the wine industry.
