Industry doyenne Lee
Botti was handed the
first Women of Worth
(Wow) award by the
Exporters Club Western
Cape (ECWC) last week as
part of its women’s month
celebrations.
ECWC chairman Terry
Gale also awarded Botti
honourable membership of
the ECWC.
“She has run a successful
recruitment agency for
our industry for the past
40 years while she does
incredible work through
her Ithuba foundation,
helping young people
prepare for the job market,
said Gale”
“Ithuba is my passion,
said Botti” “Giving these
young people opportunity
is incredibly important.
The past week we carried
142 jobs in our company
branches across the
country and not even two
of those jobs were for
trainees. This is what has
happened. We need to
do as much as we can to
give these young people a
chance.”
