THE ROLE of the South African maritime industry in the African Renaissance will come under the spotlight at the 7th National Maritime Conference in Cape Town from May 7 to 9 next year.
Aimed at all interested or concerned with maritime issues, ranging from potential maritime investors, to employers, employees and clients of maritime concerns, the conference is being held at the Cape Sun Inter-Continental Hotel.
The purpose is to discuss issues related to development and opportunities that will contribute to economic growth, organisation, finance and economics of maritime undertakings and systems, innovations, information technology and e-commerce, and the development of skills to promote and support the efficiency and competitiveness of the South African maritime industry.
