A newly built 22 000-square-metrefood-grade warehouse in Johannesburg is serving as a major hub for cargo bound for Mozambique and other countries in the Southern African region. The warehousing and distribution service offered by Teralco Logistics is supported by a growing fleet of company-owned trucks thus ensuring service levels are where they should be, according to managing director Terence Odendaal. “Teralco is expanding its fleet on the Maputo corridor and is offering new and improved services to Beira and Chimoio,” he told Freight News. “Our fleet consists of low mileage and reliable Scania G460s’ and modern and clean tautliners (curtain sides) which represents a niche within the market for customers who value reliable and hygienic trucks, mainly in the food grade space,” he adds.
