On 22 September 2026, the South African Revenue Service (SARS) published translated versions of the Value-Added Tax (VAT) Modernisation Consultation Paper in several South African languages for greater accessibility and stakeholder participation.
SARS will publish additional language versions as they become available. The language version is indicated in the name of the link provided. Interested parties are invited to review the proposals and submit comments by 16 October 2026.
