On 06 October 2023, the South African Revenue Service (SARS) advised that the documents listed below had been updated to include conditions for when an application for the renewal of a licence will be auto-approved, as well as the requirements for the registration of diesel food manufacturers.
The SARS Online Query System (SOQS) external guide has also been updated to include the new query option that will enable diesel food manufacturers to submit their application and supporting documents to SARS electronically:
