United Links launches UK export groupage service

FOLLOWING THE recent launch of a UK-SA seafreight consolidation service for the smaller agent (moving consignments about the 200-kg level), United Links is about to establish a similar service for export consol traffic. This will link Durban, Cape Town, Johannesburg and Port Elizabeth to a two-way, intercontinental groupage service connected to the United Links worldwide web. This UK-based company also offers an airfreight product through its Johannesburg offices and was this year rated by SAA as one of its top-three UK agents. "Indeed," said United Links' UK-based Sue Joyce, "we offer a worldwide "one-stop" tariff incorporating daily palletised airfreight density discount services; airport-to-door; wholesale consolidation; and express parcels and courier services."
