Unifeeder group chief executive officer Jesper Kristensen, who also serves as the chief operating officer for DP World Marine Services, has announced his resignation via social media.

In a post on LinkedIn, Kristensen stated that he had “requested to be relieved from my duties.”

He expressed gratitude for his long tenure at Unifeeder, having served for 34 years, the last 17 years as Group CEO.

Kristensen’s last working day at Unifeeder will be July 19.

However, he has agreed to remain with DP World for several months to handle tasks related to P&O Ferries, P&O Ferrymasters and P&O Maritime Logistics.

The leadership transition at Unifeeder will see Martin Gaard Christiansen take over the business in Europe, the Americas and West and North Africa, while Ganesh Raj will assume the role of CEO for Unifeeder FZCO, covering Asia, the Middle East and Africa.

Kristensen's departure marks the end of a significant era at Unifeeder, where he played a pivotal role in the company's growth and development.

His contributions will be remembered, and the company looks forward to continuing its journey under new leadership, a DP World statement said.
