Trade with Gabon opens up

ED RICHARDSON TRADE OPPORTUNITIES are opening up for South African companies in the West African country of Gabon following the signing of a co-operation agreement between the two countries. The two agreements -Trade Agreement and the Convention for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with Respect to Income Tax - are designed to facilitate increased trade between the two countries. Trade and Industry Minister Mandisi Mpahlwa described the deal as “one more step in realising the south-south co-operation”.
