On 02 September 2025, the South African Revenue Service (SARS) advised that upon the registration of the new or replacement bond, clients need to check the following, as it will ensure the timely processing of the case and limit any amendments or rejection of the bond:

• If the authorised financial institution or insurer is chosen. The registered banks are accessible at:
  • https://www.resbank.co.za/en/home/what-we-do/Prudentialregulation/sa-registered-banks-and-representative-offices
• It is registered under the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA).
