Customs Rule Amendments On 28 March 2013 the South African Revenue Service (Sars) published rule amendments to the Customs and Excise Act (Act) relating to the renaming of the Bloemfontein International Airport to the Bram Fischer International Airport, which was effective on the day. On the same day Sars also published rule amendments to the Act relating to the substitution of the DA 260 Excise Account for Other Fermented Beverages as a consequence to the taxation proposals tabled by the Minister in his Budget Review on 27 February 2013, and effective from 14:58 on the day.
