On 22 November 2013 the International Trade Administration Commission of South Africa (Itac) published a notice for the initiation of a sunset review of anti-dumping duties on tall oil fatty acid, classifiable under tariff subheading 3823.13, originating in or imported from Sweden. The application was lodged by Industrial Oleochemical Products (Pty) Ltd, the only manufacturer of tall oil fatty acid within the Southern African Customs Union (SACU). The investigating period for dumping is from 01 January 2012 to 31 December 2012, and the injury investigation involves evaluation of data for the period 01 January 2010 to 31 December 2012 Comment is due by 30 December 2013.
