Global groundhandling company, Swissport International, has announced that Swissport Ghana has officially started operating.

Swissport Ghana – a joint venture company between Swissport International and Ghana Airport Cargo Centre (GACC) – will offer cargo warehousing and ramp handling at a new cargo warehouse which is currently under construction and scheduled to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2015.

Ghana is currently one of the fastest growing countries in the world.

Its economic outlook is promising and the country has a high growth potential, said Nils P. Knudsen, head of Global Cargo Services at Swissport International.
