On 26 June 2023, the South African Revenue Service (SARS) informed that a new scam is doing the rounds where an email titled ‘Internal Communication’ from a fake DIRCO email domain is sent, asking the email recipient to click on a fraudulent link to verify their identity for SARS purposes. Please don’t click on any links and delete the email.
