On 13 October 2023, the South African Revenue Service (SARS) called for comment on the proposed amendments to the Rules to the Customs and Excise Act, 1964 relating to SARS’ accreditation of client, which is due by 03 November 2023.
The proposed amendments intend to provide for the electronic submission of applications for accredited client status via eFiling.
