A virtual trade and investment seminar between South Africa and Zambia is currently under way, the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (Dtci) has announced.
Dtci Deputy Minister, Nomanlungelo Gina, is representing the country during the two-day session which is themed 'Developing Afrocentric solutions and forging partnership in response to Covid 19'.
While the seminar will focus on trade and investment opportunities available in both countries, the minister said that mineral beneficiation would be one of the key issues that would be discussed. The minister also said that the ultimate goal was to build on previous Outward Trade and Investment Missions held in Zambia over the last four years.
The seminar will conclude tomorrow.
