Labour issues will come under the spotlight at a one-day ‘Labour Indaba’ to be hosted by the Road Freight Association (RFA) on 25 November at the Kopanong Hotel & Conference Centre in Benoni.

The varied programme will cover a range of issues – from cyberbullying, virtual sexual harassment and remote work challenges to the mounting pressures from labour in the trucking industry.

A heavyweight panel has been lined up, among them renowned political commentator Justice Malala who will provide his insights on ‘Decision Time: Thriving Through SA’s Post-Covid Politics: 2020-2024’. Marion Shaer, director: Conflict Dynamics, will discuss mediation, with particular focus on workplace mediation.

Delegates will receive an RFA Mini Labour Library. Published by Juta, this 2020 eight-volume set contains a number of Acts relating to employment, labour and related topics.

There’s a discounted rate for RFA members while a virtual event will cater for delegates who cannot attend.
