In last week’s issue of FTW, in a article titled “Industry sides with Sars over NTB complaint”, Michael Henning of Easy Clear was quoted saying “there have been some delays around the matching of the Unique Consignment Reference (UCR) number”. It has since been brought to FTW’s attention that the exact opposite is true, as Henning has since placed on record that “there are in fact no delays due to the matching of the UCR numbers as this is a postclearance process.” FTW regrets the error.
